Hyundai Creta created quite a buzz in the market when it was launched in India last year against the likes of Renault Duster, NissanTerrano and Mahindra Bolero. Since its launch, Creta has notched impressive sales figure and in fact went on to become best-selling SUV.

Variants and Prices

Hyundai Creta comes in total of six variants – Base, S, S+, SX, SX+ and SX (O). While petrol version comes in Base, S, SX+ variants with single capacity of 1.6-litre, diesel can be had with two different 1.4-litre and 1.6-liter of cubic capacities. Hyundai Creta

The base model of Creta comes with 1.6-litre petrol and 1.4-liter diesel engines. Petrol model is priced at Rs 8.69 lakh while diesel model is retailed at Rs 9.57 lakh. This model comes with features like ABS with EBD (standard in all variants), Day/Night inside rear view mirror, lane changer indicator, and engine immobilizer.

S variant sits above the base model and is priced at Rs 9.67 lakh for 1.6-petrol and Rs 10.52 lakh for 1.4-litre diesel. Over and above the features of base model, S variant comes with front fog lamps, rear defogger with timer, roof rails and side Mirrors with integrated blinkers.

Middle S+ variant comes with additional features like driver and passenger airbags, rear parking sensors and camera, and 16″ alloy wheels. It comes only in 1.4-litre diesel guise and priced at Rs 11.55 lakh. Like S+ variant, SX model also comes in diesel onlythough capacity of the motor here is rated at bigger 1.6-litre. It comes with features like projector headlamp, automatic climate control, electrically foldable outside rear view Mirrors etc. The car is priced at Rs 11.80 lakh.

Hyundai Creta

Hyundai offers SX + variant in both petrol and diesel guises priced at Rs 11.30 lakh and Rs 12.78 lakh respectively. Additionally, diesel variant is also offered with automatic transmission. In addition to the aforementioned features, this variant is equipped with chrome finished door handles and smart key with push button start. SX+ is priced at Rs 11.30 lakh and Rs 12.78 lakh for petrol and diesel version respectively. The automatic transmission variant, on the other hand, will cost you Rs 13.80 lakh.

The top model in the variant list, the SX(O) is feature laden as it sports all the bells and whistles. In addition to driver and passenger airbags, this variant also feature side and curtain airbags. Other features like electronic stability control, vehicle stability management control and Hill start assist control make this variant score very high on the overall safety and security.
