Troy MVP Training Center now using instant video analysis system!
Troy MVP Training Center has added a new video analysis system to our teaching tools. This slow motion system gives us instant feedback on all aspects of teaching. In the past we had to download the video to our computer system and then analyze it away from the lesson. Not only did this take time away from the student, but it was definitely inconvenient for everyone. Now, we take the swings or make the throws and then turn around to the system and show the student exactly what we think needs to be done. This new system shows the student what he or she has done and gives them a visual look at it, instead of just the normal verbal description.
This system can be used indoors or outdoors and allows our staff members to e-mail the edited video to our main computer system for better viewing, or to any e-mail address supplied. The recipient of the e-mail can then download a "Free Swing Browser" program which will allow them to view the video on their own computer. We also have a hand held camera where we can download a video directly to the system, or even show the student in the batting cage in between pitches.
